Register to be Part of the Parade

If you would like to register a float, band, group, or dance troupe to be in the Parade we would love to hear from you. The Trustpower Christmas Parade is a community Parade and so we encourage everyone to join us on the day.

The first step is to complete the online Registration form.  We will then contact you to let you know that we have received your registration and to talk through some of the logistics with you (need for special placement in the parade, if you have any other needs that need to be considered, if you have sound etc).  

If you want to be involved but don’t know where or how to start to make your float get in contact with us and we can brainstorm some ideas and point you in the right direction.

The organisers will do everything reasonably practical to ensure a safe parade, however, you participate at your own risk.  The organisers, their employees, contractors and volunteers shall not be responsible for any injury to participants or for any damage to property owned by participants.

Please note that any handouts or giveaways must be approved prior to parade day by the Parade organisers. The Parade organisers decision is at their discretion and their decision is final. Items can only be handed out and not thrown from floats or into the crowd.
